Volunteering means many things to many people. For some it can mean gaining some valuable experience; applying new skills to practice. For others it can be sharing their own valued experience with others in an effort to give something back and contribute towards others and their learning. As an organisation who support learning as a lifelong ambition, we believe volunteering provides a huge learning opportunity not only for those who volunteer but also what we can all learn from the person volunteering. If you have a skill and want help others develop and learn from your experience or if you have learned something new and want to gain some experience through volunteering, then you’ve come to right place.

 

Our volunteering opportunities are less about finding new volunteers to fit existing roles but more about how we can facilitate a learning exchange between volunteers and the community of learners. Our volunteering opportunities are bespoke to the individual volunteer.
