Training and Learning
At Rosemount Lifelong Learning we have a wide range of opportunities for learning and getting involved in your local community. Rosemount is an organisation focused on adult learning whether it’s in the form of courses, employability training, volunteering in the community or family support.
We offer classes and programmes in a variety of topics:
- Adult Literacy & Numeracy
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Personal and Social Development
In our IT Suite you have a wide range of ways to learn more about computers and how to use them. You can come along and do one of our IT courses, get help with your job search or you can stop by to use the internet on your own. The IT Suite is available to book for time slots up to 2 hours.
We offer various Digital Skills courses to fit your needs and experience, and can set you up with everything you will need to learn effectively.
Our IT courses are available on a flexible learning basis. This means that you book a time slot (up to 2 hours) and study at your own pace with support from our IT tutors.
The IT Suite is open between 9.30 and 4 every day, closing at 12-1 for lunch.
To find out more or book a slot, contact June at email@example.com or call 01412126524 or 01415530808.
Adult Literacy & Numeracy
We provide adult literacy and numeracy sessions for those who want to develop their skills. Our dedicated tutors work at your pace and make sure the session is shaped by your desired outcomes.
We work on both a one-on-one and group basis.
If you or someone you know may be interested in these classes, please contact Lorraine at 0141 553 0808 or LorraineS@rosemount.ac.uk for more information.
Our dedicated tutors teach communicative, mixed ability general ESOL classes with a focus on Employability. There are both in-person and online classes throughout the week, and occur at different times throughout the day to ensure accessibility for those who need classes.
Due to COVID-19 safety procedures, there is a limited number of spaces per class. If you or someone you know is interested in taking these classes, please contact 0141 553 0808 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on timings, as well as to be put on the reserve list.
Personal and Social Development
We run a number of courses throughout the year which focus on personal and social development, as well as improving employability skills. In the past, this has included Beauty, Emergency First Aid at Work, and Childcare. To keep updated about the current courses we are running, please like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
