We provide services for all members of the local community

Training and Learning

We provide training opportunities in the form of ICT tutoring, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, adult literacy and numeracy lessons, and personal and social development sessions. We have regular classes as well as one-off occasional courses.

Support for Families & the Community

We offer support via Family Links, for families affected by substance misuse; Positive Family Futures, which encourages people of all ages to learn new skills by coming together as a community to share experiences; and the Young Parents Project, which helps young parents (16-25) access education and training, and volunteer or job opportunities. We also have the Oral Health Project, which encourages health for new parents and their children. This includes our Buggy Walk, Bookbug Sessions, and support and education about infant oral health. Rosemount Lifelong Learning is also the home to several social groups for learning new skills and combating loneliness.

Our new nursery provides care for children between 2-5 years. We plan their individual development with you following the Scottish Government Guidelines. Our friendly childcare workers create a safe, secure and stimulating environment within our nursery.

“Rosemount is a great venue for training delivery, easy to find, easy to park and extremely helpful staff. Highly recommend and I’m looking forward to the next time.”

“I’m waiting for Thursday every week, during the walks we chat with other mums, I found it really useful as a new mum to breathe as being a mum for the first time is a tough job.”
