In late 2015, Ade Kearns professor of Urban Studies at Glasgow University started to raise money for Rosemount Lifelong Learning along with 3 other local organisations having taken an interest in the communities through his involvement with the GOWell Project. He sought sponsorship to run a tremendous 25 races each 10 kilometres over the coming two years.
Ade came along to Rosemount Lifelong Learning today and presented a cheque for £675.75 after his final race in January 2017 completing all 25 races in a jaw-dropping 16 months.
Alison Mason, Chief Executive of Rosemount Lifelong Learning said ’ we are extremely grateful to Ade for his contribution to Rosemount Lifelong Learning which will help us continue to provide a range of support and activities for the benefit of local families. ’
For your generosity, we thank you and we have agreed that when we do any future fun runs to raise money for Rosemount Ade will be our new running partner/mentor! If you would like to get involved and run for Rosemount contact us on 0141 553 0808 or email Kiran.email@example.com
